Welcome! — The E.C.H.O. Project Kicks Off in Vienna

On 6 December 2025, nine organisations from nine European countries gathered in Vienna to launch the E.C.H.O. Erasmus+ youth cooperation project.

The E.C.H.O. project — Empowering Communities through Harmonised Outreach — officially launched on 6 December 2025 in Vienna, Austria, bringing together partner organisations from nine European countries for its inaugural meeting.

Coordinated by VABCKJS-EU (Austria), the consortium unites nine experienced youth organisations under a shared mission: amplifying youth voices for a stronger Europe through participation, collaboration, and action.

The Kickoff Meeting

The two-day kickoff event brought all nine partner teams together in person for the first time. Partners exchanged experiences, aligned on shared methodologies, and established the working structures that will guide the project through its 2025–2027 lifespan.

Discussions covered the project’s core activities — including training modules, youth-led initiatives, webinars, and an international youth fair — as well as communication strategy, dissemination responsibilities, and quality assurance.

The Partners

The E.C.H.O. consortium brings together organisations from Austria, Italy, Türkiye, Lithuania, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, France, and Spain. Each partner contributes distinct expertise in areas including non-formal education, digital inclusion, gender equality, intercultural dialogue, and youth civic engagement.

“This project is about more than exchange — it’s about building lasting structures for youth participation across Europe.”

What Comes Next

Following the kickoff, the consortium moves into the project’s first phase: developing the E.C.H.O. training modules and launching the first series of webinars. Youth-led activities will begin in Spring 2026, with the international youth fair planned for later in the project cycle.
